Caroline’s Kabalagala Mix makes 40 Kabalagala.
YOU WILL NEED:
- 16 Small OR 8 Large OR 800gm Peeled very ripe bananas.
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the vegetable oil in a pot at medium heat.
- Mash the ripe bananas.
- In a large bowl, add the kabalagala mix and mashed bananas. Mix until well combined to form a dough.
- Grease the hands with oil or margarine to avoid sticking. Dust a flat clean surface with some flour or oil. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.5cm and cut out shapes.
- Roll the dough and cut out the desired shapes.
- Deep fry the kabalagala for about 1 minute each side until golden brown.
- Carefully remove from the oil and place onto a prepared rack to cool. Enjoy!
